I get tired of my friends saying “You’re so right!” It’s a great idea to put on your own decor and do something that will make you feel like you know them better.
Well, I don’t know about you, but when I was a kid, Halloween was a big deal. I used to go trick or treating with my friends from school. I always took candy, and I always wore some costume. We’d play flashlight tag, and then I’d come home and put on some of the best Halloween costumes I could find. I mean, the outfits were just that good, right? I couldn’t go to the mall without having at least one thing to wear.
I think that the biggest reason for the huge surge of Halloween-inspired Halloween costumes in the past decade is that the advent of the internet allowed people to share their creative efforts with each other. No longer do we have to make a special costume for a friend, or a family member.

I think that if we had been doing this from the beginning, we would have probably run out of ideas, and that would have led to a lot of people just giving up on finding costumes for people of their own find more.
The problem is that this year is the last time that I can think of a reason to wear a costume. I think that’s it. I really wish we could talk to each other about this, but it’s really hard when every time my sister calls me, I start worrying that she’s not going to just forget I said I’d be home.
I think that, if we had started the year of making costumes from the beginning, it would be much easier to keep to a few ideas and stop worrying about what everyone else is wearing. But that would also mean that we would have to stop trying to make costumes because it would just become clear that things were already too much.
The only time I’ve ever thought that I’d be really sad if I didn’t have a costume is when I went to a party dressed in my sister’s old ones. It’s like I thought, “Oh man, I’m going to look so bad that people will all think I’m a girl.” If I’d have known this could happen, I would have worn my sister’s costume and I would have thought, “No problem, at least I’ll still look like her.
The internet is full of awesome costumes. I’m no experts, but I’ve got the best one ever. It’s called “The Costume Contest” and it’s a costume party where you get to choose your own costume at the end, but also win a prize. The prize is a cool, fancy, expensive, and extremely rare dress that you have to wear, which is a fun way to spend one of your nights. It’s been super fun so far.
The costume contest is a very common Halloween event. You can find them all over the web, and they’re also fairly easy to participate in because they’re all fairly easy to make. You start by building a costume out of a bunch of items that are either inexpensive (i.e. fabric, beads, or leather) or common (i.e. masks, cowls, dresses, and shoes).
The costumes can be pretty creative, and often take a lot of time and effort. That said, I think it’s pretty fun to make a costume of one of these if you’re feeling creative, or just want to have a good time.
