I’m still not convinced that wall decor alone can create a calming environment. Sure, it can keep you safe from the outside world, but there are so many other ways it can be a calming influence.
I can’t help but wonder if bamboo is just the most calming and relaxing type of plant, or if it’s the one that’s most calming. I guess the answer would be both.
You can find many beautiful bamboo products on Amazon, but since we’re talking about walls, I thought I’d include one of my favorite wall decorations. It’s called the bamboo wall decal, its a set of images that are created by using the image of a bamboo plant. The images are made to be as clear and transparent as possible; they can only be seen from the outside, and they can’t be seen from any angle.
Its not only relaxing to look at, but its also a beautiful way to incorporate bamboo into your home decor. It can also be used for other applications, such as flooring or even decorative wall accessories. I bought mine at a local Chinese market for $15 and it’s already sitting on my mantelpiece, which has a similar effect.

You can buy bamboo wall ornaments from China but they are quite expensive, around $20 to $50. You can find more affordable ones in your local Chinatown. To make the ornaments you can use a simple DIY bamboo stringing technique. Simply tie up a piece of string in each of the 12 holes on your bamboo wall and use the string to hang your bamboo ornaments.
I use a lot of bamboo wall decor because it looks like a lot of fun to use but it is very expensive. My husband uses about 1/4″ bamboo wall decor because he loves it. We would be shocked if someone paid for it to be used in the same way.
I use the same technique but with the string attached. However, I never use the string that I used in the first place. I have no idea what it is but I’ve tried it and it worked.
With the string attached I don’t think it works. It’s a beautiful, functional piece of wood but it is a lot of work. Also, I don’t think it works very well because I don’t think it can hold the string quite far enough. It’s not a very flexible piece of wood, you can’t make it as flexible as you make your bamboo ornaments.
I don’t know what that string is but I guess it’s one of those things that I’ve not tried. I’ve never used the string that I used before either and I dont know what it is. I just think it is a really cool looking idea. I’m not sure if it will work very well. It’s really hard to get that string to stick to anything, I think.
